I learned about Buteyko breathing technique from my husband, Alex, whose asthma symptoms have reduced a lot since he took a training with Masha Anthonissen-Kotousova.
8 years ago. While I do not have any chronical illness, I snore during my sleep and breathe sometimes too fast (as my husband said). I then contacted Masha, who recommended me to contact Edwin. After reading articles on how Buteyko might help with reducing hyperventilation during sleep, I decided to join the training in early December.
Edwin is a very attentive trainer, he answered all the questions, and since there were only 2 participants, I felt the speed and steps taught were really customized to my needs. He also shared freely his own journey, which inspired and motivated us. Now, going into the 3rd month since the training, I still practice 2x in a day, in the morning, and in the evening. The results speak for itself, I snore less, which of course makes my husband very happy. It still happens from time to time, but much less than before. I also reached 65 second of “control pause” within 10 weeks and feel much fitter, with more energy throughout the day.
